Cholestrol meds make my muscles hurt? What else can I take? Any helpers?!

go to the dr and tell him that your muscles are hurting. He will pull u off that med and try another one. Make sure and test your liver every 3 months when u are on cholestrol meds to.
Perhaps not all cholesterol meds will have this side-effect. Check with your doc; get samples from his office to try before you fill a prescription.
