Why do I get a pain in my chest when I get angry?!

Question: It's like... an aching pain I suppose near my heart. My friends said that they had no idea what I was talking about.
I don't know if it's like too much adrenalin or something... Somebody explain it to me.

If it is anxiety (be careful not to assume of you have heart problems in the family get an EKG to see if the heart is ok) you are actually getting less oxygen to your body. You are breathing shallow and not taking enough in. Also, you are straining the muscles in your chest. Try deep breathing when this happens.

well its probally because the yelling you do when people get asngry or its the or or or i jusyt dont no wart the **** you have ya weirdio just kidding

Well I have the same problem, but I went to the Dr. and they told me that they were some sort of anxiety attacks. I only get them when I get angry to but there are different things that can cause them. The way I con trol my attacks is practice my breathing, if you can control your breathing the less pain you will have , if you cant it could end up worse. So when you feel that your going to get the pain relax and breath in through you nose and out through your mouth. Don't forget not to panic!

I would check it out with the Dr. it could be something serious or just stress! Try not to get so angry.....

When you get angry, muscles clench all over, especially the ones that move the ribs to breathe. Some people get so upset and tense it feels just like a heart attack.

Long slow deep breaths are key. SLOW or you'll hyperventilate and pass out!
