Question: Why do people think it's SAFE to participate in silly contests like this?
You can OD on too much sodium or sugar, etc. and in the case of this poor sap he just choked to death.
I don't think most people realize how dangerous these competitions are and that they should find other ways to raise money or have fun.

Paramedics were called to revive Adam Deeley, 34, after receiving a call saying he was choking at a cafe in Swansea, south Wales, in the early hours of Friday but could not save him and he died in hospital.

I always wondered the implications of these contests and you have shown us that there are health risks involved. Poor guy you can say he had his cake .
