Which meds are you on? There are so many meds that are used for treating different levels of ADD that it is hard to give you an exact answer.

However, in general, many of the meds used put you at greater risk for liver damage as does alcohol and the combination of the two could damage your liver so severely that you would be in need of a transplant in as little as three years. In some cases the alcohol can increase manyof the side effects of the meds as well.

Since you state that you are still in school and you sound like you are still living with your parents as well, that makes me wonder if you are even of legal age to be drinking. Whether you are or not, I would listen to your mom and not drink as long as you need to be on the meds.

All meds don't work as well if alcohol is consumed. Don't be a Guinea pig and find out the hard way. Listen to your MOM!! And call a pharmacist for the book answer!

If you have to ask, you probably shouldn't.

it depends on what the doc says and what meds you are on
I'm on ritalin la and i drink but i don't drink a lot and i only drink sometimes like around holidays and etc

Thats proberly not a great idea drinking why your on medication.
