Normal Low Temp of 96... currently at 98.12.. fever??!
Question: I have a normal body temperature of about 96 something, but I feel warm and have a temp of around 98.12 today..
I have earaches, muscle aches, sore throat, congestion.. the works..
could I possibly have a low grade fever?

If you know for a fact that your temp when healthy is 96, then you are running a low grade fever. A fever is the body's way of raising the temperature and making bacteria or virus die from the heat. Most feel you should let a fever run its course and do it's job, others feel you should treat a fever if it gets 'too high', although what is too high is different for every person.
yes finally someone who has a low normal temp. loll my mom thinks im crazy when my temp is 98 and i feel feverish. you can very well have a low grade fever.

you might feel warm, but 98 degrees is still a normal body temp. don't worry about it.
