Answers: When there is a Major disaster i.e an Air Crash or Train Crash or something of that magnitued who pays the Hospital Billls because the way I understand it is that you all have private medical insurance over there am I right

Yes We do have to carry our own medical insurance in the US, and in an accident or case of diease, we are stuck with what our insurance doesn't pay. But sometimes in accidents (car, train, plane) our auto insurance will give a settlement to pay for medical bills, and replacement of vehicle.

the insurance company of the airline or train should pay for everything in that instance

All uk citizens are covered by 'national insurance' and receive free medical treatment. Non residence in the event of an accident are treated as said by the insurance companies. If yu do not have private insurance and are injured outside of a major disaster ie: car crash, you will have to pay your own costs. OK

Mostly insurance company bear the cost.
