Can you help with m problem?!
Question: I work on a children's farm. When the smoking ban came into force last year it included the staffroom on the farm. The manger disagrees with this new law as he smokes himself. When it rains he smokes in the staffroom. Today it was dry and he still had one. He also lets the other smokers smoke in there and they do. I can stand it as its a small room and it gets into my hair, body and clothes. There is no where else to have lunch apart from outside in the cold.

technically what they are doing IS illegal, tell them that its not pleasent for you and possibly use other collegues to back you up. If not you could always report them, i know it sounds extreme but i'd hate it if people were being that disrespectful at my workplace. Good Luck
report him to health and safety anonymously, this law was brought in nationally and should be adhered to, he is breaking the law
