Do you need to have 20/20 vision if your vision isnt that bad to be a pilot?!
Question: not anymore, my brother wears glasses (his power is approx 250 both sides) but he's going to be a pilot soon.
apparently it used to be that way a few years ago, where you must have 20/20 vision in order to be a pilot.
now, it is different. as long as your vision can be corrected to 20/20 vision (glasses and/or contact lenses) you can be a pilot.
but then again i don't know if it is applied to all airline companies. you can check with them tho.
