Can anybody understand what happened to me during the night?!
Question: My friend last night told me on the phone she has an online boyfriend and she went into details. I felt sick and hung up on her. I started feeling like I was going to vomit and I felt dizzy. I woke up around 20 times in the night shaking but not cold. I felt sick too. When I woke up i drank water and felt better. I also felt really light, as if id suddenly lost about 20 pounds overnight. I had stomach ache still so I went to the toilet and was burning if you know what I mean (the 'trots', eww)
I would say this is a panic attack but I don't know how a panic attack can last the whole night as i do get panic attacks quite regularly but none as severe as this. Can anyone help?

I think you probably got a stomach virus or ate something "bad" that made you sick. I do not think it was a Panic attack. I have had them all my life and although I do get shaky when having one, I have never had a stomach ache like you describe. I know you can feel "light" or weird and also throw-up. but again stomach should not ache.
It sounds like some sort of virus or tummy bug.
I have had something very similar before I was really sick during the night waking up with stomach cramps and fainting but by by the morning I was fine. I don't think it's a panic attach, but if it continues I would go see a doc.
