That hapens to be a common misconception. Although those little white spots on the nails can sometimes be related to vitamin deficiency, they are more often caused by trauma to the nail bed. For example, if you accidentally slam your finger in the kitchen cabinet right at the base of your nail. It becomes a little damaged, but you don't notice it because the affected area is still under your skin By the time the damaged area grows out (about 3-5 weeks), you've forgotten all about the injury!

You shud drink a glass of milk a day. it gets rid of the stains and makes ur nails nice and shiney. it also makes ur teeth white and ur hair shiney!

I get those too. I have a lot right now. But I'd agree wit the first answer. It has nothing to do with calcium.

i don't think so. mine do that all the time and i drink alot of milk.

people say it's due to calcium deficiency but as someone already said this is a common misconseption and is not the case

White spots on your fingernails usually means you are deficient in zinc and a deficiency of zinc can also stunt your growth and development. Perhaps you should take a zinc supplement every day.
