Microbes??!
Question: When i'm playing with my dog i'm touching it with my hands and carress him. Then i go straight to the bathroom and wash my hands with a plain soap. Does the microbes get off or i need to use a more pharmaceutical soap?

its Ok
Dont use hard antiseptic soaps because they destroy pH of skin you can use also a mild antiseptic soap with lactic acid
Plain soap works fine. Keep in mind, your covered with microbes, too, and your body needs to be exposed to fight infections.
.
plain bars of soap and maybe some handwash by the way you have to learn to live with microbes because they're everywhere even on your skin but that's why we have white blood cells and antibodies to help fight of infections. So no big deal.
any antimicrobial soap will take care of the problem, like Dial (on the cheap end) or Provon (on the more expensive end)
Most of the benefits are from the water/rinse itself though.
your dog is prolly cleaner than you.... you have nothing to worry about
