You may just have picked up a bug, and it has nothing to do with your meal. I think if you have food poisoning you throw up and get diarrhoea. Also, if there was something wrong with your meal, your husband would have most likely gotten sick too. See a doctor if it doesn't clear up in a few days or your symptoms get worse. Hope you feel better soon!

some ppl just cant handle indian or other foreign food---visit the doc!

Some people react badly to spicy foods, especially if they are not used to it.

Could be, but you need to visit your GP, it could even be a virus that's going around.

Think he's got 'delhi-belly' or something!....

The stomach flu is going around right now. It went through my husbands work and now it's going through my work. If your husband ate your meal and is fine, i would think it's the flu; not food poisoning.

Hope you feel better soon!

If you don't feel ill enough to make a doctor's appointment, why don't you speak to your local pharmacist? He could give you some advice, and he'll also know what's doing the rounds in your area. Maybe suggest something that'll help settle you a bit too.

Hope you feel better soon, you poor wee thing. January is miserable enough without feeling ill too.

This sounds more like a flu or a virus of some sort to me as your husband would be feeling ill too.

I'm no doctor but I've had food poisoning before and I was sick a lot. I even ended up in hospital for a week but it was a strain of salmonella - it was nasty!

Maybe speak to your local pharmacy as they might be able to give you something for it?

I hope you feel better soon x

hmmm maybe there was something in the food you are sensitive to and he isn't. Or perhaps you just happened to get a virus that's showing up and the timing makes it seem to do with the food when it has nothing to do with it?

Hope you get better.
