Medical transcriptionist?!

Question: have a job interview for medical transcriptionist at my local hospital. i type very fast. 64 wrds a min to be exact but i have not done any medical terminology. do u think i will still get hired? i spell very good and i type fast. what do you think?

Its unlikely if you havent taken a class for medical transcription. Theres way more to it then typing. You have to know the format of the reports, understand the terminology behind it. Its not a hard class, maybe they will like you so much that they will pay for your training. Good luck!
