Mystery health question??!
Question: ok i know a guy who is having chest pains occasionally and his dr said it might be a heart mumur. he coughed up blood for no reason one day. are these two things related? what is wrong with him? he doesnt get much sleep if that helps at all

I am not a doctor but, I don't believe the hear murmur and him coughing up blood are the same things. heart murmur wouldn't cause him to cough up blood. is the blood dark in color does it look like coffee grounds when he coughs it up or does it look like fresh blood? I would say that he maybe having a bleeding ulcer and he should have it checked out. the reason for him to be coughing up the blood is because blood irritates the stomach. but, he really needs to go back and see the doctor to get put on some medication for it. I hope I was of some help.
