I have very flat feet, will this cause my any problems?!
Question: I don't think I get particularly worse pain standing up for long periods than most people, however I do get pain when walking for a long time (a dull ache pulling from the toes to the heel), and I find walking in heels very painful.
Will they affect anything else, just so I can take preventative steps?

Having flat feet places your lower back, knees and hips out of alignment and you're at risk of developing a plethora of problems as a result.
It will keep you out of the army! So it can't be all bad. Go to a podiatrist and get some inserts for your shoes.
Go to a podiatrist and get some orthotics and follow his directions.
