Is it bad to exercise then go to the dentist?!
Question: Is it bad to exercise then go to the dentist?
Hi
On Thursday I'm participating in a 5km walk to support Project Compassion, however, I have a dentist appointment later on that day
The walk starts at 1pm and we should be done by 3pm --> my dentist appointment is at 4pm
I'm getting a small filling done so im wondering if walking and getting tired before going to the dentist will have a bad effect after i get the anesthetic?
Please let me know A.S.A.P as i have to let my teacher know if im going to do the walk or not
By the way im almost 18 (not sure if that has an impact either)
thanks

I think it's ok. What's more important is the aftercare. As long as you don't run after you had tooth extraction and prevent further physical stress. Any activities prior to tooth extraction is not prohibited so you can still run before you go do your dentist.
