Pus on gum line that I just got contoured?!

So 2 days ago I had gum contouring, and they put a mouth bandaid on the contoured area (2 top front teeth). Last night, the mouth band-aid fell off prematurely, it's supposed to stay on until sometime tomorrow or the next day. I woke up this morning, and the healing gum line that i got contoured was discoloured, and looked pus-y. It doesn't hurt at all and it's already tender from the surgery so i can't tell. It's not gum absess or whatever either because this was from the surgery. What do I do to get rid of the pus?? :( Please help!
