Question: My expander cutting my mouth?
I currently have a orthodontic expander in my mouth and it has that wire thing at the roof of my mouth, causing cuts all over my tounge :// and the inside of my cheeks have cuts all over them from the wires on my back teeth!, it hurts like hell! i have to wear this till the end of febuary, do u have any tips to stop this from happening?

Yow! I would ask to have them removed. The least you can do is ask the dentist for solution.
Yes I have an expanded and I would first train yourself not to put your tongue up there and second, call your ortho and ask what to do. They will probably suggest wax and for the cuts warm salt water three times a day should heal that.
Did they give you some wax that you can use to cover the wire and prevent irritation? I used to have to do that when my brace wires were rubbing against my cheeks. Ask the ortho for some wax :)
