Bite my tongue while sleeping with braces.?!

So I just got my braces and I have a HUGE problem. My tongue is really big (bow-chicka-bow-wow) and I slept all of last night with my teeth clamped right on my tongue. Now this morning I got a REALLY bad wound. I went to the orthodontist but it was to early so only the secretary was there and she said that there weren't any night-guards made for braces. I would wait until the morning and get some help but the wound I got was REALLY bad. And if I do it again tonight it could become serious. So I need some help and I need it now.
