Can you get rid of tooth scars from braces?!
Question: Can you get rid of tooth scars from braces?
I had braces while I was in elementary school. I didn't like to brush my teeth often back then (I do now though!) and as a result my teeth have white 'scarring' by the gums, similar to in this pic:

Only much less pronounced. Its only noticeable up close, but I hate it. Is there a way to get rid of it, or at least make it faded or less pronounced?

Answers:
Sorry, but enamel scarring is permanent. The only thing that can be done is to cover it up with bonding or veneers, or bleaching to make it less obvious.

I would try a whitening toothpaste; they should fade somewhat overtime, but idt there is anything you can do to get rid of them completely.
