Painful mouth from braces should I call the orthodontist now?!?!?!
Question: Painful mouth from braces should I call the orthodontist now?!?!?
I got this on Thursday evening, and since then have not been able to eat anything but soup. Although normally my teeth hurt, it is not normal for 4 days pain for me.
Should I call or will this affect my braces date to come off?

Ring the orthodontist's surgery and have a chat to a staff member. They will either offer you an appointment to have a look or will give you the correct advise to deal with this.
The area that is rubbing can be eased by the orthodontist in the surgery. Try some painkillers as well to help you do cope.
Scrambled egg is also good and soft as is porridge!
it's normal, I experienced that too! so on my next appointment I told my dentist about this and she gave me what they call "wax", it's a transparent soft roll almost like candle wax then she asked me to put some to the areas where the brackets scratches the skin and getting caught into. So just call and ask your dentist about this wax.
pain and discomfort is normal for braces.. but sores and skin getting caught on brackets is not normal.. no orthodontic work should ever "catch" soft tissues.. call your orthodontist for them to adjust it or cut off the parts that catch.. it won't affect the date of them being taken off..
Yes call them! This Lunda bad and no it prob won't affect the out date
you should go to doctor.
