What is Getting knocked out like?!

I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out this morning. I was given the IV. When they put it in my arm, I waited for like ten seconds and was still fully awake. Before I knew it, the surgery was over. I don't even remember falling asleep.

depends if they give you the iv, or the mask.
My sister had the IV done on her when she was having her wisdom teeth pulled.
She said it was just like slowly falling asleep, very gradual.
With me I had the mask.
And I only remember the first five seconds of that, and then I was out.
Didn't wake up for another few hours.
Remember to have someone with you after the surgery so they ca drive you home, and help you walk out the door. Because you will be way out of it after the surgery is done.

You slip under before you know it. Usually they tell you do some cheesy thing like count backwards and you make it through about 2 numbers and you just slip out. You know nothing at all until they are waking you up. It happens fast and there is nothing to it.
