Do your wisdom teeth have to come in before they are removed?!

Question: Do your wisdom teeth have to come in before they are removed?
Might sound stupid, but im not sure ! I just want to have the laughing gas ahaha. Just to see what its like(: So i kind of want mine removed ! Just wondering because i dont think mine are grown in. But do you have to have them grown in before they are removed? And what happens?

Answers:

Don't worry, it's not a stupid question. I had my wisdom teeth extracted before they erupted (came in). I'm not so sure, however, that they would give you nitrous oxide. The doctor might go with a general anesthetic, meaning you'll be asleep for the procedure.

Extraction is fairly simple when the teeth are erupted. If they are not erupted, an incision into the gums may be needed to reach the teeth that are covered. Depending on the case of the procedure, you may also need stitches.

?Your dentist may recommend that you have your wisdom teeth removed if they cause pain or an infection, crowd other teeth, or get stuck (impacted) and can't break through your gums.

?Some dentists and oral surgeons think it's best to have impacted wisdom teeth removed (extracted) before you're 20 years old, because it's easier to take them out when the roots and bones of your teeth are softer and not fully formed. And when you're younger, you tend to heal faster.

?You may never have any problems with your wisdom teeth, especially if you're already older than 30.

?Wisdom teeth that are healthy and come in properly don't cause problems.

i went under general anaesthetic for my windows to be removed. do u really want to be away if they are chiselling into your jaw and ripping your teeth out? i had 8 teeth removed as a young kid to make room for my new teeth and that was unpleasant enough. the crunching, the needles and everything.
