Question: A bit nervous about the dentist...?
Years back I had a root canal on the tooth two back from my eye tooth. I had a post and core, but the dentist said it was solid and would be OK for years to come but could eventually crack and break.
It was OK for years, and over the weekend a big chunk broke off. No pain, because the tooth is root canaled.
What can I expect tomorrow? I know I should be cool as the worst that can happen, already happened--but nonetheless I am a dental baby. I'm assuming the crown will be completed now.
I've got a 45 minute drive there, so plenty of time to work up some nerves.
Any help would be appreciated--thank you!

Best case scenario they will re-prep the tooth and get an impression (give you a temporary) and make a new crown for you.
