Braces, filling, metal ring?!
Question: Braces, filling, metal ring?
In a few weeks I'm getting that metal thing they put in your mouth two weeks after space and two weeks before braces I think they're the bands... Anyways, while I have the bands on I'm getting a filling, will the dentist have to take out the band in order to do the filling? Also I'm getting braces within a half an hour after i get the filling if that helps at all

The bands will not affect the metal ring whatsoever. The metal ring goes around your tooth and a filling is done on top of your tooth. And the filling will not in any way affect the braces. I have a metal ring around a crowned tooth, I have braces as well and nothing's happened.
