Small spot on my gum?!

Question: Small spot on my gum!?

Two days ago I did a quick teeth check in the mirror and found a small dark blue/black spot on my gum!. At first I thought it was just a a piece of food but it wasn't!. It almost looks like a small vein or broken blood vessel!. I don't think I could have did anything while flossing because its above my tooth!. I am 23 years old, do not smoke and have pretty good hygiene!. I was just wondering if anyone had and ideas what it could be!. Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
