Question: How long does it take for the gaps in my teeth to close up!?
Ive had braces on for 6 months, and last week they put a "power chain" on which is meant to close up the gaps which I had four permanent teeth removed due to crowding (two up top, two on bottom)!. I have to wear the elastics at night only as I only got the power chain put on the top as my bottom teeth are not ready for it yet!. How long does it take for the gaps to close up!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on how large the space is!. You need to remember that the teeth have to move through bone!. If you had teeth extracted then the spaces you have are significant and could take a couple of months!. The power chains should be changed every 2 weeks, as they lose their elasticity after that and server no purpose then!.
