Can I use Pratley Steel (steel putty) to make a false tooth?!

Question: Can I use Pratley Steel (steel putty) to make a false tooth!?
Ive had a short pin in mouth to keep a gap between two teeth where a false tooth was supposed to be implanted!. It was put there by my orthodontist 9 years ago and I never bothered going back to remove the pin and put in the false tooth because I hated him!. Now the pin broke of and my medical aid doesn't cover my teeth!. If i made a mold out of steel putty, would it be ok to lodge into my mouth!? Will it rust or cause any harm!? It will fit into my molar so no one would see it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it's wise to put that in your mouth!. All the metals that are used in dentistry are regulated for health and safety, so using the steel putty may be hazardous to your health!.

You should find a new dentist to take a look and see what he/she can do for you!. But if you leave that space for too long, the tooth behind it will start to drift into the area and cause problems for your bite and gums!.

If your medical aid doesn't cover your teeth, maybe find a dentist who does payment plans so you can still get your teeth fixed and pay a little bit of the cost at a time, so the total cost doesn't overwhelm you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
