Is it important to brush your teeth right when you wake up?!

Question: Is it important to brush your teeth right when you wake up!?
I usually brush my teeth and wash my face after I shower, which can sometimes be around 3 hours after I wake up!. Should I be brushing my teeth and washing my face as soon as I get up!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi

Yeah, personally I brush my teeth and wash my face before anything else, then i have breakfast and have a quick rinse before i leave the house for freshness!.

There are reasons for brushing before eating as well,

1) don't you feel alot fresher and cleaner eating breakfast with a clean mouth rather than with morning breath

2) the smell from morning breath and stuff is from saliva and bacteria, and by eating without brushing, you're taking it all in right!?

3) Brushing and washing FIRST thing will wake you up properly, and make you feel more clean, and fresh!.

4) in the end, if you brush before eating, and have a quick rinse after, you have nice CLEAN fresh breath, and you didn't take in last nights bacteria with your breakfast!.

That's just my opinion though, and I've never had mouth odor problems, or bad teeth, and I feel extra clean and minty every morning,

so my advice is brush and wash before everything else,

hope i helped,

bye

That is the way my mom taught me!. Always wash your face and brush your teeth before anything else!. I guess for me it is habit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

as long as you are brushing twice a day it does't matter, Morning and night
