The best thing to do is see your dentist to find out what's causing it!. Eliminating the source of the problem is the best solution, but if you cannot do that right away, and you cannot take a prescription narcotic/pain reliever, try taking 1 or 2 Tylenol, AND 1 or 2 Advil together at the same time!.!.!. I worked for a dentist who was also a registered pharmacist and that was his suggestion, stating that the 2 drugs are 'synergistic', meaning that they work extremely well together providing pain relief almost as strong as a prescription drug!. The only thing to remember is to consider whether or not you are sensative to either tylenol or advil, as especially advil, will upset some folks' stomachs!. Whatever you do, do NOT put any aspirin or other pill on the tooth itself!.!. it only burns the gum tissue and is like putting an aspirin on top of your head for a headache! Beyond that, see your dentist about finding a more 'permanent' solution, like treating the cause, otherwise, the pain will just keep coming back!Www@Answer-Health@Com
