Swollen line on the roof of my mouth?!
Question: Swollen line on the roof of my mouth!?
I woke up this morning and had a hard bump in the front part of the roof of my mouth, i didn't think about it too much until i fell asleep on the couch watching tv and it has now spread in like a line meeting my teeth (about a 1 inch long and 1/8 inch wide)!. It's not discolored, it's the same color as the rest of the roof of my mouth!. There isn't pain but its a little sore!.

Did you eat something hot last nite!? We call it a pizza burn!. On the roof of the mouth you have many ruggae and that bump behind the two front teeth is normal!.!. you probably just never noticed it before!. You might have just burned it with pizza or soup or something like that!.
I wouldn't worry too too much, but of course if you're concerned check with your dentist!.

Sounds like it may be due to trauma!. If that is the case it will resolve on its own!. It could also be a periodontal abscess origination from one of your front teeth!. If so you need to see your dentist!. Give it a couple of days and if it gets worse i would recommend seeing your dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
