Throught the first few months you have your braces, you have to expect a little pain!. grinding could be a possibility, but you have to expect that your teeth are still moving around, getting used to the metal surrounding them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it can be a bit of both!.
when i had braces my teeth would hurt now and then in different places because the braces were shifting my teeth!.
And it could be that your grinding during the night in which a Splint (strong mouthguard used at night to help protect your teeth when you grind) can be made for you!. Go to your dentist and they can have a look if there are any signs of grinding Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might be grinding your teeth at night (it's usually caused by TMJ, have your dentist check), but chances are it's your braces!. Even though you've had them for a few weeks, they still continue to adjust your teeth after you've gotten used to them!. Just take some Advil or Tylenol and drink a lot of cold cold water!. That should ease the pain!. It did when I had my braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually, a week ago, my teeth were really sore and my braces had been tightened, at that time, three weeks ago!. So, even though it had been 3-4 weeks, your braces will work at different time!. It is also possible that you were grinding your teeth, though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got mine in june!.!.!.!.!.but, yea sometimes if you push on your teeth even a little bit with your tongue then they will hurt until the next day!. Also, try not to chew all you food on one side, or one specific spot, i hope this helps!.!.=~)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably your braces!. Remember, your braces are moving your teeth around which will cause random pain!. It's worth it in the end :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
