I need to go to the dentist, and this will be the first time that I have ever done this on my own as an adult with insurance and no parents leading the way!. What kinds of questions do I ask to know whether or not I have found a good dentist!? How do I find out about the dentist's billing practices or prices!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Usually, before you even meet the dentist, the front desk receptionists will make sure you know the billing procedures and practices, it's always step one when meeting a new patient!.

You will know if you found a good dentist by your gut feeling at first!. Do you like this person, the other staff, the office !? The most important thing is trust, do you trust this person with your health !? Are they friendly, patient, and caring!.

Don't worry about what questions to ask, they will know what to ask you to develop a good relationship!.

If anything makes you feel uneasy while you are there, don't hesitate to meet another dentist next time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can, ask around at work or friends to see if anyone recommends a good dentist!. Then call the place and see if they accept your insurance and if they will bill them directly (if not, you'd have to do a claims, and that's a pain in the butt)!. If you want to know the prices, just ask!.!.!.they will tell you how much a cleaning is or whatever you need!.

It's hard to know if a dentist is good or not until you try them out!.!.!. Just go for a regular cleaning, and if they say you need this and that done, and you don't trust them, get a second opinion!.

Good luck! It will be easier than it seems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
