Question: Am i supposed to eat with elastics in!?
i have to wear elastics 24/7 for my braces!. whenever i eat with them in, they either stretch out and become weak or they just snap, but i always forget to put them back in afterwards!. i try to wear my elastics at least 20 hours a day and it's been about 3 months, so its getting to the point where i am like is it even worth it anymore! anyways if you have had or have elastics, did you leave them in when u were eating or take them out!? because i have heard mixed answers!. any other advice on dealing with elastics!?!?!? thank you!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just got elastics a little less than a month ago :) You're not supposed to eat with them in, because I think it would be quite hard! My other suggestion is changing them twice a day, because they will start to loose their pull over time!. Good Job wearing your elastics! It'll be worth it! Www@Answer-Health@Com
my orthodontist always told me to take them out when i eat, brush my teeth, or exercise!. so i did!. and my teeth turned out fine!. actually also i only wore them at night!. hahaWww@Answer-Health@Com
