Easiest way to cure or relieve a toothache?!

Question: Easiest way to cure or relieve a toothache!?
I just started having a toothache yesterday, I have no clue where it came from either, it just happened out of the blue!. I'm going to schedule an appointment with a dentist on Monday!. But I was wondering, besides of the herbal treatments and things like that!. Is there way to alleviate tooth pain until I get into see the dentist!. Right now I've been using Kanka around the hurting area, it seems to work for a little bit but not that long!. I've been using an icepack as well!. Is there anything else I can do in the meantime without going through so much pain before I see the dentist!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Toothaches are the worst pain! I feel for you!
I've been there myself when my wisdom teeth came in!.

Brush and floss very well to make sure no food particles are in there, these particles can be irritating and cause an infection in the gums!.

Use an ice pack as much as you can stand!. Sometimes wrapping a towel or cloth around the ice pack makes it easier to keep the pack on for longer periods of time!.

Spend a few dollars at Walgreens or your local pharmacy on an oral rinse!. They taste horrible, but who cares if the pain is gone! Also look into the baby oral gel for during the day, or at work!. The baby oral gel is not as potent, but if you are about to eat, it doesn't kill your taste buds!. Keep it in your pocket so you can squeeze some on your finger to rub on your gums when you experience pain!. Get some Tylonol, and also Tylonol PM!. Take the regular Tylonol throughout the day and the PM at night before bed to help you sleep better!.

If you have any antibiotics in the house (check the expiration date!) then take them right away! Make sure the dentist prescribes an antibiotic to keep on hand, in case your "flare up" happens again!.

Stay away from really cold food!.
Avoid foods with small pieces, seeds, and hard edges!.

Hopefully, these tips will alleviate some of the pain!. Good luck!.

have you eaten popcorn lately!? If so floss really good!. I saw a lot of patients who had kernals stuck between their teeth!. It caused a great deal of pain!. If you havent then it could be a small cavity!. Our dentist always recommended tylenol until you get in to see him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
