Question: I need soft food suggestions for braces!?
I've had braces for less than a year now but I've pretty much gotten used to them and the pain!. I just got them tightened and they're a bit more sore/hard to eat with than usual b/c my orthodontist put in one big rubber band(called a power chain, not as bad as it sounds haha)!. The golden rule is whatever foods you can easily manage, just go ahead and eat!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but just for the minimun period as we all know that soft foods( without fibres!!) has got its own limitations w!.r!.t nutritive value, fibre content !.!.!.!.as a result of which you will invite plethora of other problems!. What I want to convey is for a day or so!.!.!.!.!.may be two or three days!.!.!.these softies may be taken as okay!.!.!.!.but for longer periods, of course, NO, NOT AT ALL !!!!

ugh i hate the pain chain( aka power chain) but jello, mash potatoes,mac and cheese, oatmeal, popcicles, soup, cottage cheese, yogurt, pudding, bananas, smothies, ramen noddles, scrambled eggs, ice cream!. theres prolly more i just cant think of them right now!. lolWww@Answer-Health@Com
Mashed potatoes, oatmeal, chicken noodle soup, ice cream, PB&J!. Take some ibuprophen to help!. its an anti inflammatory and might help with the tenderness!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
