I am getting my braces off in a few days and I am kind of nervous!. Does anyone know the procedure, and if it hurts!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
you should be excited!!!!!!!

basically, they're going to go around with a wrench like object (sorry for the bad use of word choice) and pull each brace off (after taking out the wire)!. it sort of tugs on your teeth but it really doesn't hurt!. the worst part is when they scrape off the excess cement--it doesn't hurt, but it sounds awful haha!. it sounds like it should be hurting but it doesn't, it's just an uncomfortable sound!. then they take out the back bands, which tugs again!. my gums bled a little bit but it really wasn't painful!. any pain was immediately made up for with the awesome way my teeth felt after! it's the best feeling, look forward to it!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't be nervous
It don't hurt really it may tug a bit but
you went through the hard part the
moving the teeth hurts 1000 times worse
(you all ready are done with that part )
after the braces are off
they will clean all the glue off and palish them and your done

so enjoy you new smile :D
it is worth itWww@Answer-Health@Com

i do! i just got mine off about three months ago!. your get in the chair and they remove your wire!. then they pop off the brackets which i had no problems with!. then they pull of your bands!. this was a problem one was very stuck and it was slightly painful when it finally came off!. trust me it is worth it!. then they scrap off the glue!. then they shave off the rest and buff your teeth!. this is painless but smelly!. after that you can brush and it is awesome!!! don't be nervous!. i promise it will be fine!. :D:DWww@Answer-Health@Com

no, it doesnt hurt it just feels weird b/c your teeth are actually smooth!

if you have ever broken a bracket, it feels like that

they just take the wires off, scape/pull the brackets off with a special tool so it doesnt hurt at all, then they scrape your teeth to get all the dried glue off, and make you rinse your mouth out!. then they scrape and scrape some more to make sure all the glue is off!.

then you get impressions/ molds of your teeth taken so they can make you a retainer!

it's painless but it gets tiring sitting in that chair for a long timeWww@Answer-Health@Com
