Question: How much does a labial frenectomy hurt!?
I know they numb it but I heard even the needle hurts more than a needle on your bottom gums!.!.!.and I'm not quiet sure of the procedure!.!.!.I've heard there have been laser treatment and another treatment where knifes are used to cutt it open!?

During the procedure, you'll be anesthetized and shouldn't feel any pain during it!. However, after the novacaine wears, it will be uncomfortable and difficult to do things for a couple of days!. Like move the area (either the lips, tongue, teeth, or all of the above), drink acidy things, eat crunchy things, and more!. It stinks but worth the alternative which can be any number of reasons, if you don't have it done!.
They can use lasers which will help with some of the healing or they can use a small blade to make an incision and a couple of stitches!. I believe the latest thing is the laser however there's some controversy about the benefits!. Honestly, I'm not 100% sure about it, so take this with a grain of salt!.
