What would cause jaw bone infection to get worse after having root canal ?!

Question: What would cause jaw bone infection to get worse after having root canal !?
x-ray today showed large very dark area (bigger than the size of the tooth & off to the back of jaw not coming from bottom of the root) that is much worse than before having root canal done 2 months ago!. Dentist is sending me to my G!.P!. now to run some blood tests looking for something underlying!. What could this be!?!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It could be a polyp, a cyst, a tumor or something else!. Glad you are heading to the doctor for the blood tests -- if you have an infection, then an antibiotic will clear up the dark area quickly -- though it could mean two full doses of the antibiotic (20 days) to get it all!.

Take care!

it could be a radicular cyst most likely!. But there are other possibilities like other cysts, some other systemic disease or tumor!. trust the dentist and GP and listen to what they have to say!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Chances are that the dentist did not clean the cavity good enough prior to doing the root canal! You probably have septicemia now and need strong antibiotics!Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

t5he infection will go to it stopsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Probably a cocroach that crawled into your mouth while you were sleeping and burrowed its way in there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
