Question: Do teeth whiteners whiten plaque and tartar or just tooth enamel!?

Answers:
OTC (over the counter) tooth whiteners are NOT recommended by dentists, AT ALL!.!.!.!.!.they contain a VERY strong form of peroxide that can break down the tooth enamel and the tooth dentin (the layer beneath the tooth enamel)

Before using them, consult your oral care professional!.!.!.!.!.!.

They are the most effective on younger teeth, (< 30 yrs old) and should be used ONLY after a professional cleaning and assessment by your dentist!.!.!.!.!.!.

They erode the surface of your tooth enamel so the whiter new enamel is showing from underneath!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely brush your teeth first you want to get as much of the solution to penetrate the tooth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your teeth were dirty the whitener may not have fully contacted all of your teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
