Am i taking my removable braces out wrong?!
Question: Am i taking my removable braces out wrong!?
ok, i have had my removable braces for several weeks now!. when i was in the orthodontists chair, and they put the braces on, she told me to take them off using the little handles at the back of the braces at the side!. she said that they should just come off, that happened for about 2 days but now i am using the metal that goes over the front 2 teeth to pull them off!. i am worried that one day might break them! does anyone know how to help get them off!?
it doesn't hurt to take them off, but trying to take them out the way i am mean to doesn't seem o work because they won't come off the front teeth!
thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's better to take them off from the back first, because the wires there are stronger and less likely to distort (since the wire is shorter)!. Have a bit of a practise to see if you can take them off the back then the front - you don't have to do it all in one go!.
If you're having problems, then just do what works right now, and ask your orthodontist for another demonstration when you go for your next appointment, if it's sometime soon!.
Eventually, it becomes easier, and you can pop them in and out just with your tongue!Www@Answer-Health@Com
