Floss on a plastic holder.?!

Question: Floss on a plastic holder!.!?
Hello,

I was wondering if the floss on plastic holders are healthy and a good alternative to regular floss!. With regular floss, one uses fresh floss for each tooth while the plastic holders have a small piece of floss that is used for all teeth!. Does it make a difference!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
it does!.

regular floss is a lot better,

but if you have to use the plastic holders, use a rag or run it under water to get all of the gunk offWww@Answer-Health@Com

Use your clean fingers and "Floss", throw out the plastic, it does make a big difference!. The plastic doesn't allow you the full reach below and around the teeth as the floss does when you make a "C" shape around both sides of the tooth!. If you have to use the plastic holder, rinse it well after flossing each tooth and brush thoroughly!.

Additional information: We tell patients that have difficulty flossing or don't floss at all, to use the plastic flossers and any other dental apparatuses available!. This is in hopes that they will at least try them and get into the habit of flossing to prevent interproximal decay and periodontal disease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I prefer the floss on plastic holders because it allows you to get into the back areas much more efficiently!. I use the Reach ones, and they're great!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My dentist reccommended them to me because I have tight spaces in between my teeth!. And much handier than carrying around a spool!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
