Question: What can I do to get rid of a really painful cankersore!?
It stings like a sonuvagun, and numbing stuff is such a hassle to apply and only lasts like 5 minutes,

If you can wait to go to the dentist tomorrow, there's this stuff called a silver nitrate stick that burns the canker off--it hurts like heck when it's being done but then it starts to heal and feel much better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your current toothpaste could be either causing the canker sore or irritating it!. Find a toothpaste that does not have SLS in it (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) (AKA the foaming agent in toothpastes)!. I heard that causes canker sores!. I used to get canker sores a lot and didn't know the cause and now I do, it was the toothpaste!. Try finding a toothpaste without SLS, maybe Biotene or Tom's toothpastes!. :) Hope this is useful to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
