Question: Weird toothache!?
I have had a toothache for a couple of weeks now!. I need to see the dentist but i also have a wierd pain/tenderness in the skin of the same side of my face!. I have also had a flu that leaves a weird taste in my mouth and weird smell in my hankerchief when i blow my nose!. Is this a related problem or something different and what treatment needs to be taken!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK!.!.If you happen to have an infected sinus and the tooth or teeth that are seemingly giving you pain are the Upper teeth, it's possible that the sinus infection is the problem!. A deeply infected sinus can create swelling within the sinus that can place pressure on the sinus wall between the sinus and the upper teeth and the nerve trunk that serves the jaw and face!. That pressure can cause both the teeth and the jaw to radiate pain symptoms!. On the other hand you may have a deep abscess at the bottom of a tooth and the taste and odor may be coming from infectious material that is seeping up between the tooth and the socket and into your mouth!. You need to see a Dentist and have Xrays made to determine if you have an abscess!. If you do not you then need to see and ENT (Ear,Nose and Throat) doctor!.!.!.!.Good luck and I wish you well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds as if you have an abscess!.
Your symptoms all coincide with this!.
See your Dentist for anti-biotics ASAP because the pain from an abscess can be excruciating or so I've heardWww@Answer-Health@Com
