Question: Whats the purpose of a biteplate!?
I dont like wearing it!.!. especially at night!. I wear it like 50/50 percent of the time!. I know its main purpose is to prevent your bottom braces from being smashed off but does it have any other purposes!? I have a huge overbite and my teeth on the bottom are high!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The purpose is to correct your deep bite, so that eventually you will not have to wear it to keep your upper teeth from knocking the brackets off the lower ones!. If you only wear it half of the time you are supposed to, you will see no results!. why!? Because the time you spend wearing it is erased by the time you have it off!. The more you wear it, the faster the overbite will go away and the sooner you can stop wearing the bite plate!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
