Will my retainer move my teeth back?!

Question: Will my retainer move my teeth back!?
I lost my bottom retainer a few days ago!. I'm getting a new one!. My teeth have always been straight but I had jaw-placement problems, and now my bottom teeth are shifting in front of my top teeth!. Will my retainer move them back a little, do you think!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I use a retainer and even if I go a few days without wearing it my teeth do feel strange when I finally put it back on!. But after awhile, the feeling goes away; I'm sure that the retainers do move them back, but it depends on how long you've gone without a retainer and how long it's been with your braces off!. I'm not an expert at this, but a retainer might move it back a bit, but I can't guarantee fully!. Maybe you should ask your orthodontist about it, I'm sure it can get fixed easily!.

hope this helped!.!.!. :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you should show this to your orthodontist!. It's likely your Doctor will have you come back for further evaluation to see if this is a one time thing or if it is progressing!.
Definitely show this to a real dental Doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it's adjusted properly it can!. as long as you've only been out of it a few days!. if it has been longer than that it may take some more work!. be sure to talk with your orthodontist
best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
