Question: Post teeth fillings, are your teeth suppose to be sensitive!?

Answers:
The fillings are probably just a bit high so you're putting extra pressure on them when you bite!. Go back to the dentist!. They'll check your bite, adjust the filling a bit on the biting surface, and you should be fine!. Don't let it go too long!. Sometimes, if it's not that high, it will adjust itself through wearing!. But if it doesn't, and your tooth continues to be inflamed, you can cause more damage (fractures, nerve damage)!. A simple adjustment should fix the problem and won't take long!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

talk to the dentist!!! If it were just a few days, ( 2-4) then I would say, yer ok, but it has been WEEKS!?!?!? talk to the dentist, and in the meantime, use sensodyne, pick yer flavor, and coddle those teeth!. !! I have had fillings for years and had the sensitive tooth thing too, but it went away a few days later!. Since it has been weeks, i am worried too!. Make an appt!. and go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If its for the first couple of days that is normal but if it doesnt go away in a week they will tell you a root canal is prbably needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would say it would be normal for sensitive teeth a few days after!.!. but weeks!?!?

i'd say you should call up your dentist and ask him whats the deal!.
