Question: Help! do i have cavity!?!?
the teeth next to my molar feels sharp when i just my finger to touch it!. but it doesnt hurt, it just feels sharp and when i drink cold water or rinse my mouth, it feels sharp!. and i also notice that there is a black mark in my gum!. it doesnt hurt, but its just there!. im scared its cavity and is spreading!. because its getting big now!.

it is normal to have sharp cusp tips on your teeth!. they tend to wear down as you get older, grind your teeth, etc, As long as it is not sharp to your tongue, leave it alone, otherwise, you can always have your dentist grind and smooth it out!. Black mark on the gum could be a cavity, sometimes they can be a result of tarter buildup that is stained!. Also, recession of the gums which exposes the root surface can cause cold sensitivity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i think it is a cavity because cold water shouldn't affect ur teeth!. i had the same thing, turns out i did have a cavity!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
