How do you tell the difference between an infection and regular swelling after w!

Question: How do you tell the difference between an infection and regular swelling after wisdom teeth removal!?
I got my wisdom teeth out a week ago exactly!. It is still painful but not nearly as painful as it was!. My bottom gums are puffy way in the back!. I*m afraid it might be infected because my mouth still tastes funny, and the top gums are not puffy anymore!. I*m on antibiotics!. I*ve had alot of headaches and canker sores recently and i cannot stay awake for longer than 5 or 6 hours!. I do not have a fever, though, so I*m not sure if this is a reaction some people have or if I have an infection!. There*s no dentist I can contact until Monday!. What do you think!?

Also I wanted to ask if this is true: In order for the surrounding teeth to hurt less when you chew, do you have to get them used to chewing again!? This is what my boyfriend*s mom told me, but they still feel like poking a bad bruise when I eat, but it is slowly feeling better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know, when I had an infection I had pus and the infected place was *extremely* sore, way way worse than the rest of my mouth!.
If you're worried you can go and get it looked at really quick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
