I am having malocculsion of my lowerjaw,drs says it as myofacial pain dysjunction syndrome.suggest me wat 2 do

i am having severe pain over my masseter, tempro mandibular region..i feel to bite my teeths with any hard objects,or just to crunch...when i close my mouth with my hands and blow air i can feel air gushing into my left masseter,i have more pain over my left side.its accompanied by head ach,oral ulcers,xome suggest it as stress...ya i have stress coz of studies,some says it as mfds (myofacial pain dysjunction syndrome) after taking impressions. i get the pain 3-4 days continuosly per week,so help me to overcome

i would suggest that you see an oral surgeon...sounds to me like your jaw joints are being affected by the misalignment...avoid all hard foods, candy, pretzels, and especially chewing gums of all kinds, they only make the jaw more painful....ask the oral surgeon about a flat plane hard acrylic device that snaps onto your teeth..it immediately takes the stress off the jaw joints and costs about $200...good luck
